Sharp devnet board and community sites mirrored!
Posted by offroadgeek on Saturday, February 07, 2004 - 03:15 PM (2215 Reads)
Zaurus DevNet We finally have full mirrors of the Sharp zaurus.com/dev/board and community.zaurus.com sites here on the ZUG!

You can access the mirrors with the links in the ZUG Menu.

If you've modified your /etc/hosts file with the IPs of the old sites - beware! If you try to log in or post, you will be re-directed to the original site and will no longer be on the mirror.

Enjoy!

ZGCC on-board compiler suite Rel. 2 now available
Posted by jfox on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 - 06:54 AM (2214 Reads)
Zaurus DevNet The second release of ZGCC, the GNU compiler suite (2.95.2) for the Zaurus ARM/Linux based PDAs, has been released at http://community.zaurus.com/projects/zgcc.

It will probably work on other ARM/Linux Qt based systems. It is designed to be small, yet provide a complete C/C++ and Qt GUI development system for on-board PDA program development. Release 2.0 provides new Qt development support and include files, GDB and other tools, and smaller executables and library files. A new install scheme lowers the administrative and system impact and the cramfs distribution greatly lowers the storage footprint for those systems that can mount it on SD/MMC or Ramdisk, but allows the distribution to be uncompressed to CF or Ramdisk storage if desired.
