Lisa Gade over at PDA Buyer's Guide did a nice review of the Zaurus 860. You can read the full review here.
Essentially, the only differences in the 860 vs. the 760 are the silver casing, and the USB drive feature automatically built in. Though the more recent ROMs (tkc 2.5.1, Cacko/QT, X11) have pack ported this feature to allow the whole Cxx0 series to enjoy this new USB drive feature.
They mention that zaurus.spy.org has a "true feed", but they forgot that we have our own feed here at the ZUG which is also a "true feed" (allowing you to install apps over the network). The ZUG Feed is a mirror/copy of the old feed at docs.zaurus.com/feed.

Apparently the Cacko Team has been hard at work, because according to a post on the devnet boards, they will be releasing a new custom rom for the C7x0 series, a X11 ROM!
Check out the pictures and see for yourself, this ROM looks great!

Larry Garfield did a nice review of the Zaurus C-760 at infoSync World.
He essentially said that the hardware is great, but the software is lacking a bit.
I wonder if Sharp will ever release a clamshell Zaurus outside Japan?

Have you recently purchased a C7x0 Zaurus, and you've already purchased apps from theKompany for your 5x00 Zaurus? Thinking that you can upgrade your apps to the C7x0 version for free? Think again...
, President of theKompany has taken quite a firm stand on this issue. Essentially, if you purchased any of his software for the 5x00, you are not entitled to a free upgrade, but must purchase a separate copy for your C7x0.

Sash has built a custom ROM for the 7x0 series Z! Here are some of the changes he's made:
New icons
EmbeddedKonsole
Sysinfo
fdisk
top
mtr
ftp server
antialiasing fonts
no more japan stuffs
You can find the new ROM in the downloads area, or at his website.
