So I finally figured out how to add the 'shortcut icon', at least it works with Opera and Mozilla. I still need to figure out IE.
But because of the constant refresh called by the old Who's Online block, after the first refresh, the nice little tux icon would disappear. That sucked!
So I changed to a different Who's Online block, it still allows for private messaging, though it doesn't have the instant messaging feature (new messages appear in a pop up window).
The nice thing is that it doesn't have the constant refresh, and it doesn't remove the nice little shortcut icon.
Please let me know what you think by voting your opinion in the poll! If you really want the old one back, I'll make the change. |

I don't know if anyone really cares about which who's lineline block we use, but I was thinking the the old one (with the refresh) provides some pretty cool functionality, and the shortcut icon really doesn't. It's just kind of cool looking.
So I've reverted the Who's Online block back, and I will see if I can fix the refresh (to be longer), and somehow keep the refresh from killing the little tux. |
