· How can I use the voice recorder? I don't see a microphone!
- There is no built-in microphone
The current models of the Zaurus do not have a built-in Mic.

- Use a microphone or headset.
Use a normal 3.5mm (1/8in) microphone, or use a headset for cellphones. (They are typically 2.5mm, so you'll need a a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter. The adapter must be a stereo one, even for a mono headset!) (Note: Some headsets don't work. For example, a Coby CV-M155 doesn't, and is apparently ONLY made for certain Nokia phones!)

- Use the left headphone
If you have no microphone or headset, you can use the left earpiece of a pair of headphones. Quality will be poor, though.

· What else can I plug into the headphone jack?
- 3-way RCA plug
This adapter for camcorders takes 3 RCA plugs and turns them into a 4-pin 3.5mm (1/8in) jack. You could use it for playing audio on your stereo, perhaps?

- Telegraph key
(I'm not kidding!) With a little work, you can connect a telegraph key to the Zaurus' headphone jack and, using software, tap Morse Code to enter text! Here's the files, and here's a photo!

· Can I stream music off the Internet or over a LAN connection?
- Yes (as long as the network connection has enough bandwidth, which WiFi and even Bluetooth should provide).
Please see the Network FAQs and Howtos for setting up various connections.
With the Sharp Media Player you can only stream music by mounting a network share from a PC to a directory under /home/root/Documents and then launch the media player. Be warned however, as this will search the entire network share for music, so a large music collection may cause it to take a while to start up.
Other players, such as Opie Player 2, support Streamcast streams off any server. There are also dedicated internet radio applications like ZRadio and tkcRadio.
